Parmesan Roasted Asparagus
READ THIS FIRST: Usually I prefer to barbecue my asparagus, but this is my favorite alternative. This is super easy, and goes with chicken or steak.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs fresh asparagus, trimmed

- 1 cup shredded parmesan reggiano cheese

- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Set your oven broil - HIGH. Cover a cookie sheet with aluminum foil.
- Spread asparagus over cookie sheet, add salt & pepper to taste.
- Sprinkle parmesan cheese over asparagus evenly.
- Roast asparagus on top rack for 15 minutes.
- Allow to cool 5 minutes, then serve.
